First I got into the spirit of the event.

Today was my first Mermaid Parade at Coney Island. Daddy was very into this event ever since he won "Best musical Group" as the Mermones back in 2001.

Well this year the weather looked kind of bad and we almost didn't make it. But I think Mommy and Daddy would have been upset if I missed my first Mermaid Parade, so we headed out to Coney Island.

So this week my Aunt Melissa came to town with my two cousins, Benjamin and Ethan. They came all the way from Seattle, where ever that is.

They got colds before they left. I was told it wasn't swine flu, whatever that is.

Memorial Day weekend we decided to take a road trip to Mommy's hometown of Boston.

First we picked up this weird hitchhiker Monster puppet named...Mahna Mahna.
I mean all the cool babies have pet monsters.

He said he got his name from the song Mahna Mahna, from this cool CD series we've been listening too.

For the Kids.

First stop was to visit with Corey and Jen (friends with Mommy and Daddy)

Daddy called it a street fair. It seemed like blocks and blocks of the same stuff.
T-shirts, finger puppets, tibetan crafts, sido, lemonade, corn on the cob, sausage and peppers, more corn, smoothies, more t-shirts, soap, more sausage and peppers.

My first Red Hook experience.

Today we had my first Red Hook experience.

We started off with Brunch at this place the Pit Stop.

They have this game Pentanque which I heard was a french word for "putting shiny objects in your mouth." Right?

I dunno, I was sleeping.

Meanwhile, Daddy had "French" Toast...ew la la.

Mommy had a cheeseburger. Oh look, "French" fries.

what's that? A "French" salad?

So cliche you guys...Your gonna be putting that all in a blender soon for me, right?

Oh look, I'm up...Wait a sec. wasn't this supposed to be my first Coney Island experience...you guys didn't make it very far.

Luckily the job was in Park Slope, so Daddy was able to come visit at lunch.

Sunday was Mommy's day.

I got this great book from my Uncle Seth and Aunt Victoria from California. I think the books from the West Coast taste better. Must be that Nappa Valley climate.

Well its Bike Month and today is this weirdo thing called Bicycle Fetish Day.
It's something my daddy is really into.

So we headed over to where Daddy used to live, Williamsburg Brooklyn.

We headed over to Taco Chulo for these things called burritos.

Then we took a walk and headed to Love Shines They have really cool stuff hanging from the ceiling. ewwww shiny.

Ah routines. Wake Up, Play with Mommy and Daddy, Eat, Nap, play with Jacob and Prisca, eat, nap, go outside, eat, nap, eat...poop.

Today I got this big package from Auntie Melissa and my cousins Ethan and Benjamin.

So the next day we went to Lake Minnewaska State Park.

We didn't hike to much, mostly around the parking lot.

Daddy had me in the Ergo again...these things get sweaty.

But the lake was pretty cool.

We didn't want to go back so we went over to Tivoli to visit Aunt Joan and Aunt Mary.

Ahhh, relaxing weekend, and it's not even officially summer yet. I'm pooped.

So we were up in New Paltz this weekend. Staying at the Clove Cottages in High Falls, NY.

I'm happy to be out of Brooklyn.
